It is a popular heirloom winter radish variety prized for its crisp flavor that does best in cool-season weather and is best grown for fall/winter harvest. The white flesh is crisp, juicy, and pungent, but milder and less pungent than many other radishes. Great for pickling, sprouts, or fresh in salads. Very easy to grow. Stores well.
