They may be picked young for gourmet dishes, or they may be allowed to reach full size, and the flavor remains the same. The squash has waxy skin, creating a nice protective barrier against insects. Each plant will occupy only about four square feet. Squash lovers should try this variety at least once. An excellent choice for home gardens and market growers. A variety from the USA.
