It is a historic Russian heirloom apple variety known for exceptional cold hardiness, vigorous growth, and reliability. It blooms in April. It is a late-fall, early-winter apple cultivar. It can tolerate harsh winters and cold temperatures. Also excellent for schools, national parks, and government landscaping. The tree will grow 16 to 23 ft tall. Cold Tolerant.
