A popular herb variety prized for its strong, sweet, complex anise flavor in cooking. Use the pale green leaves in vinegar, soups, stews, sauces, salads, and poultry dishes. Pinch or remove flowers to encourage leaf production, and pick leaves as needed. Plants die back in winter and regrow in spring. Divide the plant every 3 years. Drought Tolerant. Excellent choice for herb gardens. A variety from the USA.
