Bush Delicata Squash Seeds

Bush Delicata Squash Seeds

SQ41-25
100 days. Cucurbita pepo. Open Pollinated. Bush Delicata Squash Seeds produce abundant yields of 4-inch wide by 8-inch long green-striped oblong squash with rich, deep golden-orange flesh. This compact bush variety offers a delicious sweet potato-like flavor, a smaller seed cavity, and thicker flesh than traditional Delicata squash. The plants spread only 36 inches, making them ideal for small gardens, raised beds, and intensive planting for higher yields. The fruits store well for up to 4 months, allowing you to enjoy fresh winter squash long after harvest. Also known as Cornell's Bush Delicata Squash and Sweet Potato Squash, this variety was developed by Molly Jahn and George Moriarty at Cornell University. Listed by the United States Department of Agriculture (PI 612977). A premium winter squash variety from the USA with resistance to Powdery Mildew (PM).
