It is a compact cucumber variety prized for small gardens, containers, or cooler climates. This is one of the better quality varieties for making crisp whole dill pickles. If you make your own pickles, you have to try this variety! It is also great in salads. This variety will take only 2 or 3 square feet, as vines are only 5 ft long. Suitable for small gardens. Brought to the USA from Russia in the early 1990s. Excellent choice for home gardens. A variety from Russia.
