Strawberry

Fragaria vesca. Open Pollinated. Elan Strawberry. The plant produces excellent yields of juicy, bright red strawberries from seeds the very first year if started early enough in the spring. It has an intensely sweet flavor. This variety has many runners and white flowers. The flowers have a mild, strawberry-like flavor and can be sprinkled on salads or used as a garnish for drinks and desserts. It is a day neutral variety, which means it is not dependent on day length for flowering. Suitable for containers, rock gardens, and edging plants. Kids love them. Excellent choice for home gardens, Farmer’s Markets, market growers, greenhouse production, open production, and commercial production. A variety from the USA.
