Taxus baccata. Open Pollinated. English Yew Bonsai Tree. This Bonsai tree produces has small dark green shiny evergreen needles. The bark is thin, scaly brown, coming off in small flakes aligned with the stem. It is a very long-lived tree, of 2,000 years. There are confirmed claims that trees can live for 5,000 to 9,500 years. Also known as Common Yew Bonsai Tree. A variety is native to Europe.

Planting Instructions: Soak in water. Let stand in water 24 hours. Plant seeds 3/8" deep, keep moist.

Germination: 2 - 3 months at 85°F

Note: Sporatic germination may occur over a 2 - 3 year period.
