You can have successive plantings throughout the year. Plant in August for fall harvest. Cress seeds are usually planted directly in the garden. Plants grow 3 - 12" tall.

Soil Requirements:

Requires fertile soil in a well drained location in the garden. Apply much and grass clippings, or straw around base of plant.

Water Requirements:

Keep soil consistently moist. Water well during dry and hot spells.

Fertilizer Requirements:

Use RootBlast, Vegetable Alive, and Slow Release Fertilizer when transplanting outdoors. Apply Miracle Gro every two weeks.

Harvest Tips:

You can cut leaves as you need them if you want the plant to produce more leaves, or you can cut the entire plant at ground level.
