A popular summer squash variety, it's prized for its reliable performance, compact habit, and attractive golden fruit. Its creamy white flesh is delicious. You can pick them young for gourmet dishes, or let them reach full size; the flavor stays the same. The squash has waxy skin that creates a protective barrier against insects.
