This popular winter squash variety is prized for its unusual looks and dual culinary/decorative value. A very flavorful gourmet squash. Great for stuffing, baking, roasting, or using like zucchini. Excellent for ornamental/decorative use in fall displays, crafts, and centerpieces. It is an excellent choice for home gardens, Farmer’s Markets, and specialty market growers. An 1885 heirloom variety from Yugoslavia.
