Seeds are difficult to germinate and only about half grow. They grow slowly the first year, and must be brought inside for the winter. The second year, the plants grow quickly and have a large crop of peppers. They also get well over two feet tall and very sturdy. If willing to invest time in a long term project, this is a great pepper to choose.
