I grew this broccoli last year starting under a tunnel. It grew very well and produced magnificently. Most plants had a nice six inch head followed by many side shoots that did not go to seed very quickly and grew to be 2 and even 3 inch heads themselves. This broccoli, grown in Michigan, produced all summer and well into the fall. In November, with snow floating about, we finally took it out. I also saved a lot of seed from this. Plant height veried widely but most were 12 inches tall.

This is an exceptionally good variety to overwinter in Florida. I live in North Florida and it was the only broccoli to survive our unusually hard freezes last winter. It produces good size heads (6 to 8 inches) on compact plants, about half the size of regular broccoli. It also grows and heads well for me when planted in mid February. An excellent cultiver, with good flavor and tenderness. One of the best, if not the best, open pollinated broccoli. Highly recommended.
