1994 All-America Selections Winner! 85 days. Lavandula angustifolia. Perennial. Plant produces blue green foliage and very beautiful and aromatic dark purple flowers. An improved compact version that attracts bees. Makes an excellent ornamental hedge. Used in bouquets, sachets and perfumes. The tender stalks are sometimes used in salads. The flowers and leaves are also edible. Used to repel moths, mosquitoes and gnats. Blooms the first year from seed! Suitable for containers. Plant Height: 12" tall. pk/25

Planting Instructions: Sprinkle seeds on soil.

Soil Facts: Requires a well prepared soil. Use general purpose fertilizer when preparing soil. Do not water plants very much.
