85 days. Lycopersicon esculentum. Plant produces good yields of huge 2 lb to 5 lb dark pink beefsteak tomatoes. Tomatoes are very sweet, are meaty, and turn dark pink when mature. A low acidity tomato that is excellent for salads, sandwiches, and canning. So huge you only need one slice per sandwich. A heirloom variety from Ohio, USA. Indeterminate. pk/20

These are, in my opinion, the best Tomato on the market today. Delicious to the taste and a beautiful to the eye. The plants are hardy and tolerate pests and drought well.

My favorite. I grow these and Brandywine, have grown to like the Belgian better. Firm large tomato---use in salads, sandwiches and make a mean marinara (without meat) that I freeze and use all winter Produce a large amount of beautiful heavy tomatoes.
