Burgess Giant Beefsteak Tomato

85 days. Lycopersicon esculentum. Plant produces good yields of extremely large 12 oz red beefsteak tomatoes. The tomato turns red when mature, is solid, meaty, and has few seeds. The Burgess strain is remarkably smooth and well shaped compared to other beefsteak varieties. Excellent slicer, perfect for salads and sandwiches. Also suitable for canning. Indeterminate. pk/20
