Laurus nobilis. Bay leaves are the foundation of fine cooking. Used with meats, fish, poultry dishes, and spaghetti sauce. The small trees are frost sensative. Grow in containers that afford easy movement indoors during winter. Transplant into large pots as the tree grows. pk/5

Growing Notice: Bay seeds will not germinate if they dry out too much while in storage.

Planting Instructions: Plant seeds ½" deep. Tamp down soil.

Soil Facts: Requires a well prepared soil. Use general purpose fertilizer when preparing soil.

Germination: 12-18 days at 80°F

Transplant into small pot when plant has 4 o 5 leaves.

Tips: Use Herbs Alive and RootBlast for larger plants and higher yields.
