A fantastic green/red leaf lettuce. I inter space this with Black Seeded Simpson and I am rewarded with a visual checkerboard of green and red. Cutting a few leaves at a time for salads will extend the harvest quite a bit. Handles the heat of the Southern California high desert rather well as long as I keep it watered well. If you love Black Seeded Simpson, you will love this as well. A perfect companion.
